Create a good climate on the internet for children and young people
For children and young people the internet is an integrated part of everyday life and an important tool for communication, learning and finding information. But the internet isn’t just a place for knowledge and positive experiences. One in three children and young people say they have been exposed to bullying and intimidation via cell phone, computer or tablet in the last year (Friends Online Report 2016).
Through training, Friends helps schools develop their work to prevent harassment and acts of intimidation on the internet. Life on the internet blurs the lines between school and free-time, and therefore we focus on pupils and students, staff and guardians. Everyone needs to be involved in order for the work to be successful.
Together we can create a better climate on the internet!
